The Web Development Curriculum

35-week part-time virtual bootcamp

This course covers 7 modules essential for charting a career in Web Development with Python and JavaScript. We cover both frontend development with JavaScript plus React to backend development with Python plus Django.

In this module, you will learn the fundamentals of programming with the Python language. The module will cover everything from Python basics, data types, using web data (scraping and APIs) to advanced python.

In this module, you will learn about the foundations of web design and web development. The module will cover HTML5 markup, CSS3 for styling, and Bootstrap. You will also learn how to build wireframes and design web apps on Figma.

In this module, you will learn about the fundamentals of JavaScript and its role in website interactivity. The module will cover everything from JavaScript basics, Document Object Model, to advanced JavaScript concepts such as asynchronous programming. More importantly, you will get to learn JQuery and the role of JavaScript in frontend development

In this module, you will learn the fundamentals of backend programming with the Python Django framework. The module will cover everything from Django basics. to advanced Django as well as how to work with SQL, NoSQL databases and APIs.

In this module, you advanced your frontend development by learning React, the most popular JavaScript frontend framework. You will also get to explore Next.JS for dynamic sites, Gatsby for static sites, and Redux state management.

In this module, you will learn all the essentials for design high performing and highly scalable applications on the cloud. We’ll cover topics such as load balancing, handling high traffic sites, database optimisation, CDNs, among others.

The final module of the bootcamp will be focused on how to get web applications live and accessible to others. The module will cover web hosting solutions such as Heroku and Netlify as well as cloud computing with AWS.

Ksh 5,000, plus 10% ISA

Pay 6 instalments of Ksh 5,000 every 5 weeks and defer the rest into an ISA where you pay 10% of income for 24 months.

Ksh 10,000, plus 7.5% ISA

Pay 6 instalments of Ksh 10,000 every 5 weeks and defer the rest into an ISA where you pay 7.5% of income for 24 months.

Ksh 15,000, plus 5% ISA

Pay 6 instalments of Ksh 15,000 every 5 weeks and defer the rest into an ISA where you pay 5% of income for 24 months.

Ksh 20,000, plus 2.5% ISA

Pay 6 instalments of Ksh 20,000 every 5 weeks and defer the rest into an ISA where you pay 2.5% of income for 24 months.

Ksh 25,000, plus 0% ISA

Pay 6 instalments of Ksh 25,000 every 5 weeks. With this plan, there is no income-share agreement included.

Pay upfront, save 25%

If you opt to pay your assigned fees upfront rather than in instalments you pay 25% less on all pricing plans.

The Course Schedule

You are required to commit 25 hours weekly to learning. This time will be spread across instructor-led workshops, curated online content and technical projects/assessments as follows:

  • Attend live workshops on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays from 7pm to 9pm EAT.
  • Commit 10 hours weekly to our curated online content
  • Complete at least one project weekly to practice skills
  • Complete daily quizzes/challenges every Monday to Thursday
  • Work on a collaborative capstone project every 5 weeks

No! Our programs are very intensive and this makes it almost impossible to be fully engaged in two bootcamps at the same time. It is also more advisable to learn new technologies one at a time and do more practice projects rather than crowd your mind with too much…

At Zindua, you can defer up to 80% of your tuition fees through an income-share agreement. Through this agreement, you agree to pay a certain percentage of your income for 24 months.
